I purchased this product because NHL 07 by EA Sports is the best hockey game for Sony's PlayStaion Portable. This game has all the classic features of the NHL series; playoff mode, dynasty mode and the play now option for those of you who just want to play a quick game. You can also play online against other people (internet connection required). Because the PSP only has 1 joystick you do not have the same gaming experience as NHL 07 on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 but it is still fun and I can play NHL on the road.
EA Sports has done it again when it comes to gaming. Their known for there NFL Football games but this hockey game blows Gretzky's psp version out of the water. The graphics and detail is just awesome!! It's like you're really at a game. The puck handling is new and a much needed feature. All they need now is to include the AHL farm teams which they do in the PS2, PS3 NHL 08 version. I just hope they do it for the PSP as well. Over all this game ROCKS!

The only hockey game I've seen better is NHL '09 for PS3. This is as good as it gets for the PSP. Graphics are great. Motion is realistic. Just a little lag in the announcers commentary. Well worth the money. Now I can play hockey on the road.
