I like the features of this game. From the lock down defense to recruiting players. you get to buy NIKE shoes with point as you advance your way toward the conference tournament. With enough wins, you can find yourself playing in the Final Four. I like the PDA features which allows you to receive phone calls and messages. The only think that I would improve about this game would be more camera angles of the court and more detail to the arenas you play in. I have noticed that some arenas look a lot alike on here when in real life they are not at all alike. I go to VA TECH basketball games and Cassell Colliseum doesn't look anything like it does on the game. I bought this game just to see if I would like it enough to pay for the 07 version. i think that this is the best march madness game on the market for the ps2, however i have NOT played the 08 version. the graphics are average, but that is all you are really going to get with a ps2 game these days. i am so addicted to the dynasty mode that i got good enough to lead Eastern Washington University to the Final Four and win it all. there were a few little things that could have been changed but didn't ruin the game: dick vitale is a great announcer, but whenever he has the chance he always says "baby" and represents duke, which if your a villanova fan like me, it gets annoying. second of all, the stadiums all look the same which in reall life is not true at all, except when you go to a small college and their arena is like a high school while Kentucky's is like a NBA arena. the third thing is that there are only like 7 or 8 songs on the whole game, so now i know like every song, which song will play next and the lyrics XD lol =] . besides that, its the best basketball game out there. better than any professional game by far since i thought that the NBA games were the best, now i think NCAA games are the best, hopefully i helped.Read full review
if you just flat out love college basketball then you will be pleased. it contains almost all aspects of college basketball. however, if you are a gamer you may be a little disappointed with the graphics and some gameplay. the graphics are just above playstation 1 level and the controls are pretty slow.
Solid control and updatedfeel, as well as a much-needed graphics update. This game finally brings the level of control of NBA Live to NCAA March Madness--I'd even venture to say that this title stands out and above its 06 professional basketball counterpart.
My friends spent hours playing this game, and is endless fun. the season mode is very face paced and is a great way to spend a day! i wish it worked with ps3, but theres nothing you can do! great product and trasaction
