My daughter purchased this game for her Nintendo DSi XL and this is what she has to say about this game, "I purchased this game because I love dogs. After I had created a new game on Petz Dogz Pack, I found it very disappointing. I adopted a dog and it got 3 hearts and when I came home from the park (in the game) the dog ran away. I found it very hard to pet and play with the dogs that I had in the game. I am 10 years old and I had a very hard time. I have a screen protector on my DSi XL. When I played Petz Dogz Pack, the screen protector was badly scratched. I am very lucky that I had a screen protector unless it would have badly scratched my ds screen! I feel that the screen protector should not wear out that fast just because I played a game that had a lot to do with the stylus. This would have been a great game if it had not been so hard for me. Overall, this is a difficult game. Try Nintendogs! I do not have Nintendog games, but I imagine that they would not be as bad as this! Right now I am looking at Animal Planet Vet games. Check those out if you really like animals. I hope this review was helpful. Most all of the reviews are good for Petz Dogz Pack, so I don't understand why it was so hard for me. Purchased this game for my 6yo and was a little concerned it would be too difficult. But this game is definately suited for all ages...it can easily be operated by a young child, or more complicated things can be done by an older child. A fun, entertaining game...would definately recommend!
Purchased for gdaughter as a gift. She has enjoyed many hours playing with this on her DS. It encourages her use of her imagination, allows her to pretend, tend to her pets and brings a smile to her face everytime. It has worked perfectly with no problems.
i love this game because it is kind of like real life. you can do so many things on this game. You can have puppies, feed and bathe your pets, and you can do so much more. i decided to buy it because i played it at my friends house and loved it. thanks.
