the orignal populous was one of the most inventive games ever made it is one of the all time classic games. there have been many sequels since the original most have been good but have not lived up to the original this game fall into the good category,the graphics are good,but the gameplay takes a while to figure out ,but if you give it time, you will have a very fun experance,please keep in mind that this game is very,very hard at first,so try not to get frustrated and expect to play 4 or 5 times before the game becomes easy to play, if you take the time with this game you will find it is well worth it.
You are better off to get the PC version of this game. It has better graphics and playability. I found the controls for this PS1 game to be awkward.
