As a fan of Project Diva Future Tone, I wanted to go back and play the original PSP titles. I had been using an emulator but decided to purchase the hard copy. Of course, it's still awesome, and being able to play it anywhere is certainly a selling point. The only real gripe I have is that, when playing on extreme, you end up jittering the handheld so damn much you can hardly see what you're supposed to do on the screen. You can kinda get used to it but, for a fast paced rhythm game requiring rapid inputs, you'll be frustrated when you're missing commands because of a problem inherent with the combination of game and platform. Still, great fun. The menus aren't too crazy so you can work your way through all the moonspeak by experimentation. Miku is moei as ever, despite the PSP's limitations, and the track list is great.Read full review

While there were more songs, more costumes and interesting new button combinations. The scoring system was made much easier, thus making all the unlockables feel like much less of an accomplishment and making me less invested in the game. It was an excellent game, but I have to say, I felt much prouder of my accomplishments in Project Diva 1.
I love this game. I have not stopped playing the 1st edition of this game yet because it was so fun and addicting, and this game is twice that! I would suggest this game to any Vocaloid fan and as a way to introduce people to Vocaloid. It's a fun and addictive game and is really fun to play, especially when you add Dreamy Theater to it. If you are looking for a great music/rhythm game then I recommend this for you!
