This game is only for strategy game lovers. This is a turn-based game that takes place post WWII, but it adds in "mechs", as if we had big robots to fight WWII for us. The game is actually very simple to learn, and takes a while to master. I have played this game completely though over 4 times and have loved the experience each time. There's just enough depth without drawing away from game play. The story line is just okay (better than most) but doesn't add much to the game. I honestly think you could play through without paying any attention to the story and still have fun. Though the controls are basic, you do get a feel that you're controlling your "mech" and the solders you control. I absolutely love this game, but I also love strategy games. This is by far my favorite robot strategy game for the PlayStation 2. It has a Great story and excellent game play. The quality and details really set it apart from similar titles such as the Front Mission series. This is a gem for any hard core strategy game players and giant robot enthusiasts.
