this game is great. buy it if you can find a real copy. not some copy made in china only real ones work in a dsi. this game kills. the graphics are great. the music is too. the story in good enough to keep you interested in. the system controls are a bit strange at first, but you quickly get the hang of it. i wish i could play the old famicom "nintendo" versions, but in english. that would be fun too. but this is a great game to keep you involved with for many many hours. i am not even halfway through, but i am enjoying it. only problem, the dsi's battery doesn't last as long as a ds. oh well, some sacrifices are necessary. if you buy this game on ebay, ask if it is american made, not a chinese knock off. buy it already!!!
Everything was just fine. If anything, making the item description a little more clear would be better. After reading through the item description I was expecting at least the game and instruction manual. I received only the game, and had to return and reread the item description more carefully for this to be clear. Again, this is ultimately my own fault, but a more more clear description would improve things.
Devil Survivor is a great game, with both great story and gameplay. You can use demons to defend you, battle with them and fuse to create new demons. At the very beginning you'll be trapped in tokyo after the lockdown, due to the massive presence of demons. With your COMPs you'll have the control over your demons and informations about the events that will occour day after day. Only with that you can survive!
Compelling characters, an awesome premise and possibly the best representation of the different alignments. Quite possibly one of the best games Atlus have ever made.
