One of the greatest sins from the early to mid-90's was that a LOT of SNES games were not advertised in Nintendo Power magazine. As a result, a lot of games went unnoticed and consequently by the wayside. One of those games is Skyblazer, a very cool action platformer with elements of Ninja Gaiden but in some ways much more playable. In Skyblazer you start off with no powers, but you can do some pretty cool things like stick to the sides of walls even if there aren't ladders or handholds. The main character is pretty amazing. He can leap pretty high, gain power ups to upgrade his attacks, and later in the game acquire some awesome magic powers. Skyblazer is a transcendant action platformer that has a difficulty curve that is just right, and you'll have a fun time playing it.
