Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny for PS2 is quite a unique game. I like the way they have the points set up to get better cards, the better you are the faster it becomes. I also like the way you can change the settings to make the duels faster and not drag out by the animations without any sound at that. The only thing I dislike about it is that they don't start you off knowing everything. You have to attend "school" in order to compete in events. I've only owned a gameboy advance game from yugioh and I like the way you have to build up a deck to make it perfect, but in this game you can save those decks for any situation. Overall I recommend this game to any yugioh fan.
The graphics are kind of old looking, compared to todays graphics. But I love the game, you can challenge different charters. I have played for hours and just love it. The gameplay is very compelling, it has a great story to it.

I primarily bought this game because my brother wanted it. It's pretty cool because their is a lot of cards you can use to build your deck with; once you have a lot of money to spend that is. Their is also nice looking visuals that your oppenents use while dueling you. You see them draw, talk, summon, set, activate, and hopefully lose. Some drawbacks, their is no choice of who you will be in the beginning, your just a new slifer red student with a red cap and hidden eyes. Also, the deck the game gives you is horrible. Its a pathetic water based monster deck and your strongest beast, I believe is gagagigo. All in all its an average game, just like any other dueling game on the gameboys and psp nothing much has changed!
Great game. Wish I never got rid of my old one. Works great. Fast shipper.
