It tells time -- superlatively. It's easy to change time zones; but that's something most of us don't need to do very frequently. It's bigger and heavier than my old, radio-controlled watch. (Some days, I wear my old watch, just because it's lighter.) I removed two links, in the band. The pins were easy to extract; but each pin was set with tiny retaining washers that were easy to lose and hard to insert, around the pin, for repositioning. The pins are too thin (i.e., loose) to hold, without these washers. This watch's value, to me, is the knowledge that it's connected to the GPS satellites, doesn't need batteries or charging (normally), and that it always displays the absolutely correct time. It also looks a lot better than the typical, black plastic GPS watch.

This is a man's watch. If you travel between time zones, this is the watch for you. It's large, easy to read, great "wrist presence," rugged (stainless steel and sapphire lens), and is appropriate for any occasion. The watch is calibrated by synching with satellite time signals. I have two other Citizens that calibrate with radio transmissions. The initial setup is somewhat complex, but there are multiple videos that make the process doable. The bracelet is excellent. The lume is very good. The craftsmanship is superb. The second hand aligns with the face markings EXACTLY. With the single, multi-purpose registry, the face is uncluttered. The date window is large and easy to read. Most of the stainless steel case and bracelet have a satin finish. I highly recommend this model Citizen. Read full review

Overalls Amazing tech, Simple and elegant design, Clean Dial. Accuracy and Efficiency The primary function of any watch besides fashion and passion is, keeping time and this thing does it better than, well, almost anyone,PERIOD! Accurate as GPS Satellites, it doesn't get better than this. The accuracy on this thing is remarkable, the speed of syncing with Satellite is faster than any Satellite watch out there, including the latest from Seiko Casio or even Citizen itself. Tech and Major Features When I opened the package, the watch was already on Power-Save mode and immediately activated when I opened, just when it detected any light :) 2 years of power reserve without charging for normal use 7 years of power reserve if kept in dark, where it goes to power save mode after 3 days if kept in dark, Awesome :) Outlook The watch is just simply elegant, the bracelet is although Chinese made, it is without a doubt a good looking bracelet. Watch is not heavy as I read in other reviews, I had a Seiko SNZG13J1 and this seems lighter or equal to that one. The sapphire crystal is really good. Read full review

I’ve only had it a week, but so far so good. Hands could be more luminescent, and band adjustment probably should be done by jeweler (I’ve adjusted many bands previously but couldn’t pop the pin on this one and jeweler said it was tricky with pin and tiny collar-like piece), but otherwise love it. Hope it serves me as well as my Citizen AT solar watch which lasted about 15 years (cost to repair by Citizen would have been close to what I paid for this watch). Handsome readable uncluttered dual. Substantial but not too heavy. Sapphire crystal a must have. Satellite wave technology impressive, and was easy to set—touched 1 button. Haven’t challenged it with daylight savings time or time zone changes yet.

Looks good and works exactly as expected. It needs more charging than other citizen watches but it's easy to leave on the windowsill for a few days. My biggest complaint is the seconds hand doesn't line up with the markers well but I won't fault Citizen for that since a lot of quartz watches face similar issues. The GPS time receive is very fast, it will usually complete in just a few seconds. The GPS location receive takes longer (about 30-ish seconds) but it's still faster than my atomic Casio. As far as looks go, I think it looks very good. I replaced the metal strap with a rubber strap, and I think I'll try a leather strap next. I haven't swam with it yet but it's held up to showers, etc.
