I have to give melatonin to my 5 yr old in order to for him to have a good night's rest but this didn't work for him. It's 1mg and didn't do justice for him. It's recommended that you only give them 1 and no more than that so I didn't chance it by giving him 2. The brand we used before this was actually 2mg and worked like a charm but thought I would try this brand since it's made more for children but was highly disappointed. Also for what you get I think is overpriced also. Waste of money for us but may work for your little one needing a little extra help falling asleep.
