Alli has been a great help to me during my 30 lb. weight loss. I chose to use Atkins as my diet. I had used Weight Watchers in the past, and although it worked, I always felt hungry. I I used Atkins in conjunction with Alli. Atkins is a fairly high fat diet, so the Alli was the perfect diet partner. I won the weight less competition at work! Not just that, but once I reached my goal, I have continued to use it and have not gained back any of the weight. Alli CAN give you diarrhea if you eat TOO much fat, so just learn how to be moderate. I've been using alli for years now. Initially, I started using it for weight loss and noticed that it helped relieve my chronic constipation. There is another review that states that this formula is different and less effective. I've noticed this to be true and am currently trying to confidently let it go by finding other means of constipation control and weight loss. 2 capsules have to be taken instead of one to get results. alli has become an expensive form of treatment when I tally up all the money spent using it. There has got to be a better way and I hope to find it soon.

I lost 15 pounds without it. I lost 22 more with it in the exact same amount of time. YOU MUST TAKE A DAILY VITAMIN while on Orlistat preferably at night. Expect very oily and runny diarrhea as well. This can easily be avoided though. Drink a lot of water all day. I literally drink 10-12 bottles of water a day. The water and the vitamin will, at least, make the diarrhea stop. No matter what you do, you will still have loose bowel movements, but not the diarrhea. I will only use 1-2 a day with higher fatty foods. Be careful as well. Alli and certain medications are a bad mix! If you have seizures of any type and take a benzodiazepine, avoid this altogether! Basically, use common sense and do NOT use for multiple months straight.
