The Panasonic Lumix G7 is everything you ever wanted in a camera and less. Less? Well, it doesn't have an audio monitor plug for video shooting. But, other than that, I've not found anything it doesn't do well. All controls are easy to set and reach while shooting or filming. The viewfinder and touch-screen are bright and the resolution is fantastic. If you are looking at mirrorless cameras, you couldn't do better than the G7. The price point at most retailers is astoundingly low for a camera with this feature set, and it does 4K video to boot!

The functionality is soo easy to adapt to. Ive been a canon shooter since 2007 and it took me 2 uses to be able to understand how to use this camera. Im using it primarily as a video camera and to do timelapses. The timelaps feature works really well if set properly. The 4k video is crisp and clean. Im absolutely loving the results im getting from this little beast of a camera that punches way about its weight. The viewfinder is digital which makes it perfect for bright days. My only complaint is the location of the battery and sim card. its on the bottom so you have to take it off the tripod/gimble when you need to change out. Aside from that its a solid buy for this price point.

The camera fit my needs perfectly. A nice package for an exceptional price. The learning curve of the interface can be steep, but as you learn to use it, it is nice and well made (my opinion). The video is what stands out though. For the price you can get a better still camera, but the video makes up for it. 4k is always nice to have. Regarding the build quality I am pleased. At first it seemed plasticy and cheap, but after some experience, also robust. Being my first good camera I'm giving it a 7/10 rating. Pros: + 4k + Video quality + Variety of options and modes + Lens compatibility Cons: - Plastic - Can get better stills for the price

This camera is awesome. I bought it for less than 600$ and it came with the kit lens 14-42mm. They both doing a great job and I took hundreds of great images without knowing a lot about filming and other stuff. The intelligence auto mode is great, and with the other manual mode you can squeeze the most from this camera. YOU MAY PAY ATTENTION for the exact model of that camera because there's an international and Europe model for this product. I bought the one who lack of filming on 60fps on FHD. Mine came with "only" 50fps. Be aware of that.

Great camera so far. Great professional level feel for the price. Dont expect to save any money on lenses do to its size. Works fantastic with my Nikon lenses and a good speed booster/lens turbo/focal reducer. So much easier for video than DSLRs Only issue I've ran into is related to the 4K video on the fastest U3 cards 128gb and up. It won't stop recording video until you remove the battery causing a loss of the file. Not cool. The slower U1 cards seem to work fine. I've read a firmware update could fix it but I haven't tried that yet. I'm actually thinking of getting another.
