I have in the last few months been diagnosed with Asthma and have to use a Nebulizer daily, but when in the car or shopping and starting to have breathing problems, I immediately suck a couple of Jakemans which gives me instant relief. These are are very good cough drops - of course only if you like anise flavor. It does come in other flavors as well so you could try those if you don't care for anise. I used to be able to buy locally, but since they are no longer available I searched on online until i found them.
