It worked out great to go through eBay to find a replacement for this Electric Shaver. I had lost it many months ago and decided to buy a used one instead of a new one, since i already had a docking station and cleaning solution refills. Thank you !

The shaver turns on and off but I can't tell if it works because it seems to need a new shaver head. The seller advertised that it was used only one time, but when I tried to use it, it's not giving a shave. So I'll try to get a shaver head to see if it works. Price wise it's a good value but for it working I can't tell because of the shaver head.

This Braun shaver is easily the best I have owned over many years of shaving, it gives a great close shave, nearly comparable to using a razor. The cleaning and charging unit is brilliant. and the unit is so easy to use. I have sensitive skin and have not had any adverse effects in the month or so I have been using it. It also gives me a great close shave in half the time of other brands of previous products. I used a Norelco razor for many years and needed a new blade, thought I would try the highly rated Braun instead of paying $35 for a blade. What a surprise, I couldn't believe how great a close shave I could get with the Braun, just about as good as a safety razor and with any skin preparation and much much faster than the Norelco. It was expensive but I wished I had bought one 40 years before. I can't speak highly enough about the Braun. I bought the razor with the cleaning power station, but I just use tap water to clean it and don't think you need the extra expense of the power cleaner.

It was time to replace my old Braun Shaver (model #8985) that I have been using for the past decade or more. For me there was only one choice, Braun based on my previous experience. Now which one? After reading many, many, many reviews I opted for the Series 7, 790cc-4 to be exact. What's not to like? This is a great shaver and I couldn't be happier. Even better I found it at a great price! It is a quality shaver and is made in Germany, not China like everything else these days. I expect this shaver to last as long as my last one.
