My hands are compromised by arthritic changes making it difficult to hold on to a thin regular toothbrush AND control its' motion to properly clean my teeth. The SPINBRUSH only requires me to hold it by its' thick, easy to grip handle. The brush heads do all of the "brushing" with battery power. I only need to direct it across my teeth from side to side.
