I have used the Givenchy Xeryus EDT for probably since it first came out. I like it not so much about its soft and pleasing fragrant, but also it, I believe, "reacts" with my skin to produce a long lasting and even better scent. Many products may have good scent by itself on a piece of test paper, but once it interacts with the skin, the scent can become less desirable (I have witnessed this from many woman fragrance EDT). Xeryus "Original" has undegone two modifications, in addition to a new scent called Xeryus Rogue which I would never switch to. The 1st version of Xeryus is in a tall dark purple bottle, and it is no longer available in stores except at e-Bay, and the asking price however can vary and it usually carries a good premium. The 1st Xeryus modification is the switch to a dwarf glass bottle. Personally I think it is still close to the Deep Purple version, but not quite. It did seem to become more perfumy and a bit less masculine like the Tall Purple bottle. The pricing of this version is "normal" and e-Bay is also a good source. The latest modification is a Tall Glass version, which is available in many stores and web site merchants. I personally think the Tall Glass version is less long-lasting, and it is not as "perfumy" as the 1st Tall Deep Purple or Dwarf Glass version. Nonetheless, the distinct and unique scent that Xeyrus exhumes is always unmistakable, and I have not met a girl in clubs that wasn't pleasantly surprised and told me they loved the scent, and wanted to know what it is and where I get it from. Well, I'd tell them how peculiar the spelling of Xeryus is, and then tell them it is from Paris, not from e-Bay! LOL.Read full review

This is a classic men's fragrance. Bold, sweet and spicy, my husband has used this product for years. Rugged and raw...reminds me of the Marlboro man every time I smell it.
I love this product is not over powerful but it smell very clean fresh. got very much compliments from the gals. I got to tell you. this cologne the original 80's formula is the best. robert
Excellent scent, very hard to find and rare. It is a classic from the 1980's and has a fresh clean scent that stays and stays.
