It's your typical self help dating book. I thought it would be better since it was written by a woman with a PhD... you know, I thought, it would be more centered from a therapeutic standpoint, and while it did have it's moments, it was more heavily weighted on the typical stuff you read in dating books. Overall, I was disappointed because the book tells a lot of how women (still) ultimately need to feed into the male ego. Don't pay the check or offer to split, don't call too much or too little, don't act aloof, don't be too independent (ie: "have male energy"), and my personal favorite, never make a man wait 7 days to go out with you. I wouldn't recommend it, but hey, that's me.
