I have read this from cover to cover twice and decided to have the engine builder do the installation. After watching him and explaining the process of putting the parts together this book is not that interesting anymore. It has some good points but by far cannot be used to do your own installation if is your first. What I have done after the hands on installation with the builder is go back over the book and made notations on things to remember or additional notes that were missed by the book. Is not my first rodeo working on cars but my first engine build and glad I spent the extra money towards a professional build. If you buy the book new ... is not a good value, if you buy it used ....yes. Content is not compelling because I used other sources to complete this info. Youtube, forums, builder. Take them all with a grain of salt, everybody has their own way of doing things. The book makes good basic points.Read full review

Has some great basic and detail infomation. I liked the tips provided on little thing that could be overlooked. Can save someone a major headache and a lot of time. Unless you have rebuilt a lot of small block Ford's you will want this book.
