The Woman in the Water - a retrospective on the main character of most of his books
Charles Finch is one of the best contemporary writers we've got - he can write an interesting story without falling into the trap of sex, filthy language, and attacking life well-lived. He does NOT dwell on a political bias that smacks of trying to persuade people to think like he does.
