Having recently learned that I have autoimmunity, I needed all the ideas I could get for what to eat. I originally borrowed this book from the library, but quickly realized that I needed to have my own copy. All the recipes I have used have been hits (except Bison Chili), and I will use the book many times from now on. I love the recipes for desserts, too. Who knew that sweet things could be legal on this restrictive diet?!

Disappointed as a true auto-immune recipe will not include FODMAPS ingredients. The other thing the author omitted was the nutritional breakdown per serving. You don't know how many sugars are in the muffins, for example, and they are quite sweet. I doubt they are a healthy recipe for those counting sugars. They also didn't bake properly, so I had to re-formulate the recipe. I don't think these recipes were ever tested- other reviews concur. There were a few good tips in there, and a few good recipes, but I'm glad I only got the PDF and didn't pay for the hard cover. I discovered Tiger Nuts from this, and they are great fiber, so it wasn't a total loss.
