Easy to use and affordable but is it accurate?
The Helect Infrared Thermometer does exactly what I need it to do, compare temperatures from one cylinder to another cylinder on my BMW Boxer-engine motorcycle. That said, I've used it to check temperatures on other surfaces and, well, let's say I'm skeptical as to the accuracy of the readings. Works well, quick ship, packed well. but....
Love it. It does what it should. A couple issues I wish were fixed in design: if you put it on F instead of C, it resets to C when you turn it off. Also, worst of all, there is no way to turn off the beep sound when you take a reading. But it works quickly, accurately, and effortlessly.

I would buy this again, love it.
It works as well as I had hoped. It is a new toy for the garage, I find myself using it all the time. It is like Christmas morning every time I see it on the bench, just have to check about 100 temps here, there, everywhere.
