Replacing your backup camera on a Toyota Prius
Was worried the camera would not work or would not be as good as the original. The camera is wonderful and works fine. Very easy to install. Saved me close to $900 for the purchase of a replacement camera through the car dealership and cost for them to install. Would recommend anyone with basic mechanical skills and a 10 mm deep well socket do the installation themself. Just have to remove one trim part inside the car then remove four nuts, take off the garnish and remove to nuts holding the camera in place. Unsnap the camera's connector, replace with the new camera, and then, replace the nuts for the camera and four nuts holding the garnish.
