Hopkins flat-4 tester
If you are looking into purchasing a tester for your flat-4 trailer wiring on your tow vehicle, the Hopkins is the one to get. It seems to mimic the resistance/load found on a trailer thus giving a true indication of your wiring. I say this because I've tried the ones with the green LEDs and they indicated that all was well. But upon connecting my trailer one side had weak and rapid flashing on the right side with my vehicle lights on. The Hopkins behaved exactly as my trailer did. I found the problem in my tow vehicle and corrected it.
