I own a shop and have bought many jump boxes over the years. Heavy is a good thing with a rough duty box. The "peak" brand is junk. The die-hard is junk. This is a high quality trouble unit. Otherwise Napa wouldn't sell it. Works well on a big block Chevy even with a low charge. The other brands I mentioned won't even jump my 2002 6- cylinder ranger on a barely drawn battery. The price is higher than the supposed "comparable" units because this one actually works properly all of the time. Quality brand. Not a cheap equivelant. There is no such thing as a cheap equivalent when it comes to a jump box. I've been buying them for over 20 years.

Compact in size for large amp jump box. 13.12 voltage out of box. Very rugged construction. Want to use it to jump vehicle. Hot battery inside unit with volt gauge and 12 volt cig. Plug. Like the cool look. I jump started a large Red Cross ERV ( ambulance diesel)

I've got a few minor quibbles: The instruction manual didn't explain very well the range of things this nifty, little gizmo can do; I had to question a mechanic friend of mine to see if I could use it in the way I wanted to. They could do a better job with the manual. I'd also like to see a 'Customer Help Line'...some way to ask how to use this jump starter--and how not to use it. And I DO NOT mean a list of FAQ, which never seem to cover the exact question I have, and you can spend hours looking through lists of questions. I mean an actual person to whom you can direct a specific question/problem. Also, the ends of the cord that connect the unit to your cigarette lighter are slightly oversized: you have to REALLY push on them to get them into the socket. I'm worried that I'll break the socket; everything's made of flimsy plastic, these days. And the little yellow 'Charging In Progress' light should come on whenever the unit is receiving a charge--110 VAC or 12 VDC--otherwise, how are you supposed to know when you have achieved a proper connection? Those minor issues aside, I've found that this Jump Starter solves the problems I hoped it would, when I bought it. Go ahead and buy one; they work good, once you figure out how to use it.Read full review

Great product, my neighbor had to call in a tow truck to start his car. The tow truck driver started his car with a Jump N Carry 660 and it only took a couple of seconds to start it. That sold me on this product.

While the newer small jump starters are all the rage, I have experienced it where they just don't work...remember they are only rated for a 4 cylinder and sometimes a 6 cylinder low compression engine. If you have any type of large SUV or V8 engine, this is the way to go!
