I am very pleased with the unit I received. It connected flawlessly with both my Android phone and Windows-based laptop. (NOTE: If at first you're having issues, thoroughly check the settings on whatever device you're trying to use. I had to manually change settings on both my devices before they would connect to the OBD Adapter.) Pairing this device with a software called Forscan (particularly the full desktop version; the app works great, too, but is limited) I am able to perform tasks typically only possible on higher end scan tools, including programming PATS keys! The only issue was that the faceplate on my unit appeared scuffed up, but as it turns out, there was a thin layer of protective film. Once I peeled it off, it looked like brand new! One more thing to mention: this device does not read MS CAN by default, but is apparently capable of it with a little modification. (I haven't done this yet, may update this review later.) I highly recommend this device! Read full review

Make it work like it says it does. Says it works on any American vehicle made after a certain year, mine was built after that year and when I tried to read it told me it could not read my trucks computer and that my vehicle may not have been factory programed to work with OBD2. Didn't bother to mention that such might be the case before I bought it. Will not order anything else from these people. I abhor people who lie, and a lie of omission is still a lie.

Works great for me. It reads obd codes and resets. Easy setup. Keep one in every car. Very portable. Lots of extra features but I don't use em. I use with free version of Torque (lite ).

I needed an OBD2 reader to get the drive cycle on my car to complete so that it can pass smog. This scanner along with Torque app allowed me to check without a drive down to the shop. It will be useful to troubleshoot all kinds of other things as well. Don't buy the cheaper knockoffs that stop working after a few times and could damage your car. I used this multiple times over the past couple of weeks and it worked flawlessly. Even though this was marked used, there was little to no damage on mine. Good purchase.

This obd2 bluetooth scanner works with GM/Chevrolet cars and trucks. I've tried 2 other scanners before this one that didn't support the protocol that GM uses with most of their vehicles. After inserting this scanner into my obd2 port it took less than 20 seconds to connect. Works great with the full version of Torque.
