This 1/4 drive ratchet is the perfect length for general purpose professional use. I use this at work, where I need to get in tight spaces to work in electrical panels, and I need a ratchet that won't wear out in a few years. Of course because of this, I only buy Snap-on Ratchets. Mine is a 1993, but the feet are still tight, not sloppy or loose. It should last me my entire career. The 33 tooth drive works well for the length, and is as sturdy as I will ever need. Spend a little more and buy the last ratchet you will ever need.
