Does the job but could be better.
I bought this mainly to do transmission jobs. I found after the 4th transmission, the 3/8 end where the socket connects to, was becoming very loose and would not hold the socket well. The ball detent was fine and was not stuck. I found that the metal was being worn out, therefore not fitting sockets tightly. They claim this is an "Impact Extension", but I would not suggest using an impact gun. It would probably last a lot longer using it with a hand ratchet or pull handle. I have not had it bend or break yet, so that is a plus. For the price, it's a good buy only if you do not use it on an impact gun.I bought this mainly to do transmission jobs.
