Works great!
Replaced a 25+ yr old power unit that finally died. Has a little less power than the unit it replaced, but it still works great on the lift it's installed on.Due to lift design, I had to extend the return hose (non pressurized) from one side to the other compared to the old unit it replaced and obtain an adapter fitting from my local hydraulic supply house to adapt to my pressure hose (new one is completely different than one it replaced).So to make it work I needed a $3 adapter and a 2' piece of hose to run around the return.Working great so far!!!Wiring was simple, and mine has an adjustment for bleeding pressure to allow slower return.Replaced a 25+ yr old power unit that finally died. Works well only a couple minor issues.
Motor & Pump worked as they should. The output fitting was BPT (British Pipe Tread) which didn't fit the hydraulic hose my unit had. I didn't see in the description for this product that it was set up this way. I wasn't able to complete setting this up on the weekend & had to make trip to local hydraulic shop during the following week to get the correct fitting as none of the large home & hardware stores stock a fitting to go from BPT to JIC fitting on the hose. Other issue with this unit is that the handle that releases the fluid back into the tank actually hits the tank before releasing the fluid to lower my lift. I had to find piece of rubber hose which I placed over the part of the handle that should press on the release button. For the price the unit works well and I now have use of ... Ended up doing what it needs to do but be ready to use your head to use it.
Poor packaging mine came with a reservoir that was dented from shipping. Had to tighten up several things that were not tight. Very poor instructions but can be figured out. The motor mount plate would not fit my Rotary lift mount had to drill 2 mount holes.
