    Supposed to be usable multiple times but isn't

    The windshield kit is supposed to be usable multiple times. But the pieces glue together after just 1-2 uses. I bought two kits. The first kit's pieces glued up after 2 uses. With the second kit, I tried to be especially careful to avoid the problem and it happened again after two uses. Bottom line, I didn't even use all the glue from the first kit but the re-usable pieces are glued up and un-usable. A big waste of money. They should have included instructions how to avoid this. I followed the instructions but they didn't work.

    3M windshield repair kit - outdated old stock

    Item looked good. Item in package was outdated several years old stock being sold as similar new stock. Accessories in kit were poor quality castings which were distorted.

    Most 3M products are top of the line, But I wouldn't recomend this.

    It's easy to do. I followed the directions to the tee, And it only filled about one half of the chip, And once you do it you can't redo it.

    Windshield Repaired

    The 3M Repair Kit did the job for me and took care of a star chipcrack before spreading. The only negative is once you use the glue chamber it can't be reused and the remaining glue and balance of the kit are trash. Still, it saved me a 200+ dollar windshield replacement.
