Also, the "Tool" shown in the Instructions is NOT included with this kit. The spring for Ratchet 43784 IS INCLUDED. The missing spring is an error from the Craftsman Manufacturing packing process.The "tool" that helps hold the ball and Spring was not typically included in repair kits because the Tool people at the Sears stores already had these tools . You will need to bend a small piece of metal, such as a large box staple to make a thin 90 degree tool to hold the ball and Spring when reassembling. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS ON THIS TOOL BEFORE PURCHASING IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS.”

Where else are you going to find these parts? There are slight differences in the original components to the replacement ones. I actually used only the spring and bearing, cleaned, oiled and put back on. I'm good with that.
