well built easy to use
i got this to make my own brake lines with copper knickle on my 86' mustang, so far ive done 10 different single and double flares, they come out nice and uniform every time if set up correctly, theres no sign of damage or fatigue to the tool itself yet, for the money im very happy with it so far

A well made versatile tool.
I normally don't review something I have not used, but in this case I bought this brake flaring tool to repair a car and a truck, then sold them before I could use the tool. Having said that, I can state that the tool appears to be well made and sturdy. I like its simple and compact design that should work in hard to reach places. The label says it is "Made of USA and Global Components" which I like, though I wonder how much is from the US, and where the rest is from. The case is labelled "Made in Taiwan" but is well made, and if I buy Asian-made tools, I would rather support Taiwan than China. The kit includes a de-burring tool to help make clean flares, which is a nice feature. Overall, I am impressed.
