Not as advertised. The test strips do not react with DOT4. I dipped a strip in a brand new bottle of DOT4 and there was NO reaction. It should have been dark green. They work only on DOT3. Three of my four vehicles require DOT4 so I now have one bottle of strips for just one car that will last two lifetimes.

As an engineer & manufacturer of fluid test systems for automotive industry (30 years), I must correct inaccurate statements when "retail" customers send feedback. Our patented brake fluid testing technology requires chemicals on our pads to be "activated" and this one uses H20 (water). When customer tried to test "new" brake fluid he failed to understand that technology, so did not see pad change to green (a good indication). For this reason we request removal of "inaccurate" negative feedback.
