Hydrometer is new except the blister pack opened up and the gauge was bouncing around inside the cardboard box it was shipped in. Fortunately the glass bulb wasn’t broken because the manufacturer had wrapped it in foam. Suggest the seller should of wrapped the gauge in bubble wrap. Anyway, no harm no foul.

It’ll do
We bought this to monitor our off-grid home batteries. It works well enough but the thermometer won’t stay at the bottom. When filling with fluid, you have to very slowly release the bulb to draw up the fluid because the thermometer will also be drawn upward and push the float up into the bulb. It’s not bad if testing one or two batteries but we have 12 so it’s annoying. Otherwise, it works ok.We bought this to monitor our off-grid home batteries. Will never buy again from them
Doesn read accurately. Tap water reads as Good Charge a couple times. Possible cannot such in enough battery juice for I don't know why. Company refused to answere numerous atempts at questions.
