It works very well.
I tried a couple application methods because I wasn't aware it would be so thin. It is so thin you could easily spray it without any reducer. I brushed with sponge brushes, bristle brushes, rolled and sprayed. I like the normal style bristle brush finish best on the frame and it knocks off any loose scale you might have missed. Spray is best for areas that you're going to see. It literally penetrates the way Ospho does, so a thin coat is all you need. I sprayed the engine bay and walked all over it for the next few days doing wiring and engine install, and it hasn't chipped anywhere. This product appears to be a very good quality product. I haven't had it in use long enough to see how long it will actually prevent rust. I am hopeful that it will last a very long time. It is easy to apply and will dry quickly.

Works great!
Just what I needed to cover the areas of rust on the metal of my 1950 Chevy Panel truck. Ground the rust off, then sprayed brake cleaner to rid the grease if any. I then painted over the area with the Encapsulator. Leaves a satin finish. No gloss fake looking treatment.
