Great product ! Don't have to remove entire intake manifold.
Brand New.... unopened packed....…. Worked very good...… Looks like Hi-carbon steel...bites well into the broken off aluminum heater hose fitting. Excellent product !!

Removal tool
it hammers nicely into the broken aluminum hose connector, but, unfortunately the part was too tightly bonded. I was not able to remove the connector. I recommend trying the part. You might get lucky.

Great tool for a bad situation.
It is well made and it should work as intended if your fitting is not "welded" to the manifold from 28 years of corrosion like mine was. It did however do a really good job of helping to bust up what was stuck and I was able to clean the threads with a tap and get the old girl fixed. Bottom line my truck is fixed and this tool helped to do it.
