Don't buy!
I used this sealant for replacement of air pressure gauge, NPT pipe threads. After 1 week allowed for cure, the sealed thread leaked when 120 PSI air was applied. We kneaded the tube to mix. It was a recent manufacture sealant. Threads were carefully cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a wire brush. After 10 days the exposed part of sealant had not cured. Easy to apply, sets up quick but can be repositioned if needed.
I use this on the cylinder head studs when assembling Ford flathead engines. Since 44 out of the 48 studs enter the water jackets. It was recommended by a fellow that used to work on a NASCAR crew, I figure if it’s good enough for those high horsepower engines it must be good.
