    WOW..It works

Ok so first off I am a ex auto mechanic with 15 years experience. I got my 2006 Ford F-150 at a great price with only 41K on the truck because the guy that sold it to me was worried about having to do a head job when the plugs needed to be replaced.I used this tool to remove all but 1 of my plugs when the truck had 121K on it. So 7 out of 8 came out no problem. I did have to use the Lisle broken plug removal tool to get one out. Now I have seen 4 break, sometimes all of them break without this tool.If your a pro you need this tool along with the Lisle tool in your box.

    it doesnt work

you will still need the 65600 extractor tool from lisle, so you are better off just using a regular old spark plug socket, snapping the plug tip off and extracting the tip instead of buying this tool cost wise. lisle tool #65600 pushes the porcelain inside the tip forward so the extractor can bite on the end of the broke off tip and you can extract it and pull it out of the head. this tool didnt work. but i ended up extracting all 8 of mine with the lisle tool. wish i could get my money back.

  • Works 99%+

There's a lot of reviews on other websites about this tool. I personally have a better than 99% success rate with it. It has like a collet that grips the top of the spark plug (the electrode) and has a socket that turns the spark plug hex so they both turn and come out at the same time. you first clean the spark plug hole out with compressed air. pour or spray in penetrating oil. Let it soak for as long as you can, at least 15 minutes. Install and tighten the collet then slide the spark plug socket over the collet. turn back and forth till you feel less resistance then screw the whole spark plug out. If the hex only comes out there's an adapter that works with the collet to pull the porcelain out.

  • 5.4 triton must have tool

After getting the engine to normal driving temperature all 8 plugs removed with no broken plugs. Tool is easy to use and great quality.

  • Uses of the product

Useless for pulling the plug out on one piece. Don't waist your time or money betting on that. (That's why their useless tutorial video shows it being done outside a real motor). However it is valuable for pulling the plug out of the cap if the thread section stips off the plug body. It should. E sold for 1/8 the price and be recommended for just that purpose
