This replacement part is made from aluminum instead of plastic. The original thermostat housing had broken apart inside releasing the thermostat spring causing the cooling fan to run all of the time. This problem should be addressed by General Motors. Very poor design! The new replacement works perfectly. Excellent company and I will gladly continue to do business with them.
