Right stuff gasket maker
Used it with an oil pan gasket and have no leakage. Prior to his I had tried another Permatex product but it had a 24 hour wait period for a good seal. Although I am confident it would have done the job if I had waited the specified time. I did not. I gave 5 stars to this product because it works without the long wait. I also used it a couple days later with a valve cover gasket. Once again no leakage. To reuse I cut off about 1/2" off of the end of the gasket maker which had been pushed into the dispensing tube by the caulking gun. Will be using this product from now on. Used it with an oil pan gasket and have no leakage. Prior to his I had tried another Permatex product but it had a 24 hour wait period for a good seal. Good stuff
This product is outstanding in as much as it will seal just about everything even if there is a gap between the mating surfaces Have used other products that fail in a short time. The only negative I can say about it is the product does not have a long shelf life once the seal is broken for use. Does not matter how well you seal the end. The unused portion will cure in short order.

This product has superior adhesion properties and literally cures into a highly durable and flexible "Rubber" capable of handling petroleums' and moderate pressures. If it's flat, throw away the gasket that will eventually leak, and seal it permanently with "RIGHT STUFF" !!

Great system
The small caulking gun allows you to be very precise in your application. Once you figure out the bead size you need you can apply a consistent bead which makes sure of adequate coverage with a minimum of product squeeze out.
