The part arrived on time. When opening the box, the part appeared to be used or was a returned item possibly. The part had paint chipped off. Seller attempted to make it right by offering $20 credit which is not that great when the posting was for a new item. After reviewing the items online, the box was suppose to be wrapped with plastic and the item was suppose to have stickers around the bolt to shows it new. This one did not have any indication that it was new.

Permatex 85420 do the job the first time
I did the job well the first time! I used about 5 drops to make sure every is well covered. Buying a smaller quantity should be an option. I do not plan to drop my gas tanks in the near future and I do not know how to keep the product fresh for a long period of time. Very good stuff, I will recommend it to friends!

Is Unstable in the Presence of Fuel.
This product is claimed to be a really good sealant, even in the presence of fuel. In my case, the fuel is gasoline, and I have found the sealant to still be "runny" after a week when used as a sealant for the spout opening on my favorite gas can. I do not know how good this one is compared to others that claim to be good fuel-present sealants, but to me this one acts exactly like the silicone that I tried earlier.This product is claimed to be a really good sealant, even in the presence of fuel.
