This was advertised as being extremely flat, it has a .015" concave sanding surface. .015" might not seam like much but it is not extremely flat.

This product is very flat and is made from wood. If a customer needs it perfectly flat it is easy to put a piece of sandpaper on a platen and sand the bottom of the sanding block for an ultra-flat surface. Most of our customers sand contour surfaces and a 10 or 15 thousandths of an inch on a longboard is not a problem.
