The tool pulled the bearings off of the carrier and pinion, but the clam shell was deformed after and had to be hammered back into shape. Clam shells are obviously made from cheap Chinese steel. However, for the $75.00 paid, it already paid for itself and is still usable as long as the clam shells hold up. Anticipate buying new clam shells now and again if the tool is used often. Not completely dissatisfied as the tool did the job for which it was purchased.

    Worth every cent!!!!

    Great tool I wish I had bought it sooner it would have money in bearing replacement cost. I set up several Jeep differentials and this puller has simplified the process and allowed me to cut time off the job. I Highly Recommend this bearing puller.

    Packed and shipped very well (38 pounds) Fit my Dana 80 carrier Bearing ..if it is limited slip(2 carrier halfs, bolt together) pull the bolts on that
