Too flimsy made to work with high performance applications.
Only good for stock engines with stock valve springs. The "C" frame is too weak for performance valve springs and will bend open. Tried to use it on GM Z-28 springs and had to weld braces on it to get the job done.

This worked great! No problems. I see another review here where the writer said it wasn't strong enough and he had to weld supports on it. As it states in this ad it is a small engine spring compressor. A small engine would be a lawn mower or motorcycle size engine. He reported he was using it on a Chevrolet V-8 motor. Thats not a small engine!! What did you expect??
