The 1959 - 1964 Disc brake conversion kit is NOT bolt-on The caliper bracket hits the steering arm and bends so u have to cut it. The booster bracket is made for something with a slanted firewall so the booster points down. Need to cut the flange off and re-weld. The booster/MC sits too low compared to stock so the lines point into the fenderwell. The bracket is the only specific (kinda) part. The rest is C10 rotors, Camaro calipers, and some generic booster kit. A 4hr job turned into 16 hr job.

We use a Cadillac rotor and a c10 caliper. minor mods may be required to fit brackets the booster bracket does angle up a few degrees. i

    It is comforting to be able to hit the brakes hard or soft and know that they will not be trying to tear the steering wheel out of your hands like the old drum brakes did. very good pedal feel, could not be more satisfied with the finished product. There are a couple of unexpected things in the installation that simple install directions would be welcome but a couple of phone calls fixed it up.

  • 63 Pontiac disc brake kit

    Brake booster to fire wall mounting requires a fair amount of fabrication due to brackets being angled and they need to be straight up and down but if your fairly good at fabrication it's a good kit.

  • Quality parts for not a whole lot of money.

    Install went pretty easy, I put the press on bearing face in a toaster oven, which worked great. Slipped right on each side. Obviously it's not a Brembo big brake kit, but it's more than enough to stop my car fast on the street. Can't beat it for the price. I did not have the issue of making new mounts like another reviewer did. The brackets lined up perfectly for me and hood clearance is perfectly fine. I can;t recommend this kit enough
