This points eliminate kit is a quick & easy way to keep using the OEM distributor , without having to go to an expensive & complex aftermarket ignition system replacement! It also has given the owner of the vintage vehicle , the ability to easily convert the vehicle back to the OEM ignition points set-up, with little or no modifications made to the vehicle, to get it running, and get it back home. In fact, I like the kit so much-that I bought several of them, just in case my ORIGINAL $25 purchase of this kit has anything that fails, there will be spare parts readily available to repair it, at any time....This points eliminate kit is a quick & easy way to keep using the OEM distributor , without having to go to an expensive & complex aftermarket ignition system replacement! Hard pass, there are kits that fit perfectly but this doesn't work at all.
There are no instructions, all the parts are loosely tossed into an envelope and fitment didn't go as planned. When searching it says it fits 1961 Cadillac but none of it fits correctly. We'll save in for another GM car in the future I guess.

Point to pointless, conversion, change over
I was not sure what to expect. The package stated it was to be an excellent product , but the reviews were mixed. When I received the Product I was really not happy that there were NO instructions, which would have been very helpful. I had to open up the threaded holes for the rotor cap to allow for the new bolts, other than that it works really well.
