Very well boxed and arrived in excellent condition. It is a tinted glass unit where my original is clear. But in the South where my truck sits outside tinted is preferred. Although the new glass is labeled for a 98-03 it fits my 95 and appears OEM (Carlite) as stated. Apparently the tinted units were not offered in 1995 and is the only difference. It's an easy installation and I'm very pleased with it.

Solid to Slider
I ordered my slider and after removing the solid glass that was originally installed, I cleaned the lip where the new glass and sealing cord was going to be installed. The length of the seal cord was the perfect. The glass was also perfect. The frame and mounting studs were positioned exactly as the original ones were. The only issue was on the original glass there were 5 mounting studs across the top but only 3 were provided on the slider frame. It didn't seem to matter though. The original 3 across the bottom and 2 on each end were perfectly positioned. When I tightened all of the nuts from the inside where the mounting studs come through everything settled into position and pulled right upto its position. The rubber lip seal was exactly where it should have been and covered the gaps ... Exact Replacement
The trim around my original 1995 window had become very pitted, weatherworn, and ratty. I attempted to fill and smooth the trim but wasn't satisfied with the results. So, I decided to invest in a new window. I haven't put the window in yet, but it arrived very well packaged and appears to be OEM all the way with Carlite glass. One bit of confusion is that the invoice states it fits a 1995 Ranger which mine is. However, the glass label states it to be for a 98-2003 Ranger. I believe the discrepancy lies in the new window is fully tinted where the original (95) is not. Apparently tinted glass was not an option until 1998 and not technically listed for 1995. But I measured the opening and bolt holes and all line up. I like the tinted glass because I live in the south and the truck sits ...
