This flexible LED strip with the long wires greatly improved with the installation where I wanted it. The ground wire has a plug on it to connect to the bottom of the switch, I had no problem installing the switch, it's was just finding a factory hole under hood where I wanted it. I am very happy I found this light & I will buy more in the future.
