    Why failed?

    Kit #4 is expensive. It worked great for years until I accidentally grounded the coil. The replacement worked for a short while, then failed for no reason. Buying a third one, research tells me a ballast resistor to lessen the module voltage can prevent it from overheating so I installed one. Okey so far. Runs great. Be sure to shim the magnet.

    Accuspark for my classic mini

    Easy installation and very good instructions made this upgrade to my 1972 Mini a no brainer. The car starts better and idles a lot smoother than with the old points and condenser set up. I highly recommend this product for its ease of installation and the comprehensive instructions included in my purchase.
