    Basic antenna basic price, no amplifier!

    I was looking for a basic antenna for an older vehicle I was working on. This unit looked OK, so I took the chance and purchased it. Shipping was fair, and although not great, the quality is OK. It has the old style mount that fits on a curved surface and allows quite a bit of adjustment. The 12" rubber whip looks good, I hope it doesn't fade or turn grey / white with the weather. The ad mentions an amplifier, this antenna does not have one.
